He is born in Crema, in the province of Cremona, on the 19th of September 1985. He began his studies in the Liceo Scientifico Tecnologico where he developed a particular interest in science.

He enrolled at the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the University of Milan where he got his degree cum laude.

He began to work for the Italian Experimental Institute Lazzaro Spallanzani in Spring 2010, in the laboratory of Seminology as research scholar working for three years in the area of official semen control, cytometry and cryobiology participating in various national and international research projects.

Since 2013 he has been developing more specific competences in the cytofluorimetric analysis of human cell lines of the skin tissue.

Currently he is head of the laboratory of Cosmetology (microbiology) and scientific coordinator of the collaboration between the Institute Spallanzani and the Cosmetic Pole. The main research areas of that field are the study of new testing strategies and the setting up of projects for the study of the active components and phytocomplexes. He gained experience in this specific field through various work experiences in Italian and European laboratories, e.g. the research and development laboratory of the IMV Technologies and the microbiology laboratory of the Zooprofilactic Institute of Brescia.

Work experience

He has gained experience with fund-raising and further develops this experience as the mayor of the community of Capergnanica since June 2013.
